Hank The Driver An unexpected, but welcome surprise from Marty's past. Very listenable collection of prog tracks. Favorite track: Noise and Dust.

Robert Reminds me of music my dad would play on Saturday mornings. Has that old style of drum mixing I could rave about for hours. Favorite track: The City.

about

Perhaps the most obscure prog band from the early 70's, here is a brief history of the band.
Five 18 year old musicians met in my parents basement in 1973 and started a Prog Rock/Fusion cover band (Gentle Giant, Return to Forever, Yes, ELP, Jethro Tull, you get the idea). Within the first year, Bill the drummer, suggested that I should try writing original music for the band. I wrote these five songs based on Walt's lyrics, and we recorded them a few months later in another friend's basement. We only played out twice. At some point a "fan" suggested that we name ourselves "Digital Benders". A few weeks later in 1975 we all went our separate ways.

The tape has recently been found. It hasn't been heard in 46 years.
